If your booking is due to be outdoors and bad weather conditions are forecast on your hire day (heavy rain/high winds etc) we may need to cancel your booking due to health and safety risks, if this occurs then your deposit can be transferred once to another date within 6 months of your hire date.

All payments made will be treated as a booking fee and not a deposit and as such, non refundable.

Any outstanding balances are to be paid on the day in cash and must be made to the driver on delivery of the equipment. We do not accept cheques or cards on the day of the hire. If you prefer to pay the remaining balance before the hire date, this can be done so via bank transfer or cheque. We must receive this payment at least 7 days before your hire date. Please Contact Us for details.

Payment for wedding hire must be received at least 7 days before your hire date. We will also post a disclaimer form to you before the day which must be read, signed and returned to us which we must receive before your hire date. This is to make it easier for both parties and to ensure your day runs as smoothly as possible.

Cancellations:

Cancellations up to £399...

Cancellations within 7 days of the hire date are subject to a 25% charge of the total hire charge. This is to cover costs already laid out for your booking such as admin fees, the reserving of the equipment for your event which is unlikely to get hired out now and staff commitments which will now have to be paid for regardless of whether your event goes ahead or not.

Cancellations within 72 hours of the hire date are subject to a 50% charge of the total hire charge. This is to cover costs already laid out for your booking such as admin fees, the reserving of the equipment for your event which is highly unlikely to get hired out now, the testing and organising of your entertainment, vehicle & generator hire and staff commitments which will now have to be paid for regardless of whether your event goes ahead or not.

Cancellations within 24 hours of the delivery time right up to delivery will be subject to 100% charge of the total hire charge. This is to cover costs already laid out for your booking such as admin fees, reserving the equipment for your event, the testing and organising of your entertainment, loading up, vehicle & generator hire and staff commitments which will now have to be paid for regardless of whether your event goes ahead or not.

This includes cancelling due to the equipment not fitting - All sizes, dimensions & ground types are clearly displayed on our website. Should we arrive on the day and the items not fit in your chosen venue or event area or the ground be deemed unsuitable, your order will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee to cover cost already laid out for your booking mentioned above. No exceptions. We will try our best to provide an alternative or accommodate the relocation of the entertainment, however, our event staff will only have a finite amount of time allocated to your booking and must keep a tight schedule in order not disrupt other bookings on that day. All payments made will be treated as a booking fee and as such, non refundable.

If you cancel within the time scales above then your cancellation amount will include deposit amount paid.

E.g. If you hire an inflatable for £100 and pay £30 deposit (leaving £70 to pay on the day) then you cancel within 72 hours of the hire date you will incur a 50% charge of the total hire charge, which will mean there is £20 to pay for the cancellation as you already paid £30 deposit.

We do not require adverse weather cancellation fees. Although many of our outdoor inflatables do have rain covers attached, if the weather is too bad you can cancel on the day (subject to our discretion) as long as at least two hours notice is given by calling us on 07748 469589.

If you cancel your booking due to adverse weather then your deposit / payment can be transferred to another date once within 6 months of the original hire date. If just the deposit was paid for your original booking, the balance will be due in full to transfer your booking to another date. If you do not wish to transfer your booking to another date your original deposit / payment will be forfeited.

Bookings of £400 and over...

Unfortunately all orders over the value of £400 are subject to a 50% cancellation fee regardless of when the order or cancellation is made due to the large amount of preparation and event management that will have taken place already that must be recovered.

Should your order be cancelled within 24 hours of your event then your order will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee to cover cost already laid out for your booking such as the testing and organising of your entertainment, loading up, vehicle & generator hire and staff commitments which will now have to be paid for regardless of whether your event goes ahead or not. All payments made will be treated as a booking fee and as such, non refundable.

In certain circumstances, an admin fee may be charged if more than 30 minutes is spent on a booking for it to be cancelled without a booking fee being paid.

We do not require adverse weather cancellation fees. Although many of our outdoor inflatables do have rain covers attached, if the weather is looking to be too bad on your event date (subject to our discretion) you can cancel up to 24 hours in advance with no additional fees by calling us on 07748 469589.

Please note: It is the hirers responsibility to check the space required for their chosen equipment and ensure there is enough space provided, this includes the ceiling height to the lowest part in indoor venues. All sizes are written on each description. On delivery, if the equipment will not fit in the space provided the hirer will still be charged the total outstanding amount of the hire. We cannot be held responsible if the inflatable does not fit. All required sizes are clearly shown on each description.

If power is not available on the day for whatever reason full payment will still be taken. If you require generators, petrol blowers or extra extensions leads these can be supplied with prior arrangement. Each inflatable requires at least one suitable plug socket, either a 13amp household plug or a 16amp cee form socket. The fans to inflate the inflatables run at 1.1kw and take approximately 2.5kw for initial start up. If supplying your own generator please ensure you have checked it is suitable for the required power needed.

Please note: Safety is our number 1 priority at all times. We reserve the right to refuse a hire for any reason if we feel health and safety law will be breached in any way. Our staff are fully trained in the safe use of inflatables and their say is final.

The weather plays a large factor in outdoor hires for inflatables, in certain circumstances we may need to cancel a hire on the day due to bad weather ie. extreme rain or wind. Please see the next section for an explanation on anchorage and wind speeds:

The European standard 4.2.1 Anchorage
The inflatable shall be provided with an anchorage and/or ballast system and any necessary accessories enabling the inflatable to be securely fixed to the ground. Each inflatable shall have at least six anchorage points.

The number of anchorage points shall be calculated in accordance with Annex A. They shall be distributed around the perimeter of the inflatable (see also 4.2.3) and shall be fitted with metal ends. The maximum wind-speed in which inflatables shall be used outdoors is 38 km/h (Force 5 on the Beaufort Scale); see Annex B. When used outdoors, the inflatable shall be secured to the ground, preferably with ground stakes where the ground is suitable. Each anchorage point on the inflatable and all of the components of the anchorage and/or ballast system, e.g. ropes, webbings, metal attachments, stakes, weights, shall withstand a force of 1 600 N.

The direction of the exerted force shall be at an angle to the ground of 30° to 45°. Ground stakes shall incline+away from the direction of the exerted force. Ground stakes shall be a minimum of 380 mm in length and a minimum of 16 mm in diameter and their tops shall be rounded. The system shall expose no more than 25 mm of the stake above ground level (see Figure 3).

When the inflatable is used indoors, the anchorage and/or ballast system should be used, when necessary, to maintain stability.

Overnight Hire:

Any equipment booked for overnight hire must be set up on private, secure property.

After an outdoor overnight hire, we expect an inflatable to be switched on at least 1 hour before scheduled collection and left inflated for when our staff arrive. Failure to do so will result in a further charge for moving and drying equipment.

Overnight hire bookings will be collected the following day at a time to suit us. If you require a specific collection time then a surcharge may be applicable.

In the event of heavy rain, it is strongly recommended that the inflatable is not used. Any wetness, including bubbling (which is normal) can be dried with a towel once the rain has stopped.

It is the hirers responsibility to point out / mark any underground services where the inflatables are to be sited. Our anchor stakes are 380mm long and services should be deeper. However, on private property this isn't always the case. We will not be held liable for any damage caused to underground services that we aren't pre-warned about.

In the event that the blower stops working, please ensure all users get off the inflatable immediately. Then please call us immediately.

The hirer is responsible for the safe keeping of the equipment. You will be charged for any theft or damage caused to it or for any equipment missing on its return. Full replacement charge for any missing items will incur. This includes any accessories which accompany the equipment I.e. blowers, mats, extension leads and game accessories: footballs, golf clubs etc. In the event of rain it is advised to keep the inflatable switched on but DO NOT use the inflatable.
